The Sport at the Service of Humanity Foundation, with encouragement from the Dicastery of Culture and Education, has teamed up with Saint Mary’s College of California to lead a nationwide Sport for Humanity Higher Education Initiative (SSHI). The initiative offers grants to colleges and universities who utilize the 3 Pillars (Inspiration, Inclusion, Involvement) and 6 Principles (joy, respect, balance, compassion, enlightenment, love) of the SSH movement to create curricular, co-curricular and service programs that champion character development and care for the whole athlete.
